My Lord Duke,
In reply to your Grace's dispatch No. 135 of 10th November last, "I have the honor to report that Mr. Finder by Gardiner Austin has been informed that a sum of money to the extent of £20,000 is at his disposal, but that as this is lying at 6 per cent interest, the Colony must be secured against any loss consequent upon it's withdrawal from the Banks where it is deposited.
